Yes, work and school notes can often be provided after an appropriate telehealth evaluation. The Online NP offers convenient online evaluations for people who need documentation for a recent illness, absence, or return to work or school.
How Do Online Work & School Notes Work?
Start by completing a secure online medical evaluation. You'll provide information about your symptoms, when they started, and the dates you missed or expect to miss work or school.
A licensed nurse practitioner reviews your information to determine whether a note is medically appropriate. Additional information or a phone or video consultation may be required.
Can I Get a Note Without a Video Visit?
In some cases, yes. If your online evaluation provides enough information to make an appropriate clinical decision, a video visit may not be necessary. If more evaluation is needed, you'll be contacted for a phone or video consultation.
What Types of Notes Can I Request?
Depending on your evaluation, documentation may include an illness-related absence or return-to-work or school note.
The standard service does not include FMLA, disability, workers' compensation, or other complex medical forms.
How Much Does It Cost?
The Online NP work and school note evaluation is $29. Documentation is provided only when medically appropriate.
